What it is

Most established gardens have something worth keeping. Our work is to find it, refine it, and bring the garden back into order.

Garden restoration is for spaces that need more than maintenance, but not necessarily a full redesign. We edit the planting, restore structure, clear what no longer serves the garden and strengthen what already works.

It is a considered way to revive borders, paths, terraces and planting without starting again. Where suitable, we also introduce surplus plants and materials from our design projects, reducing waste while giving the garden fresh life.

We run our business on three simple commitments. Every visit. Every garden. REUSE. Healthy plants lifted from a tidy find new homes. Timber from prunings returns as chipped mulch. Stone and brick from clearance go back into new schemes. RECYCLE. Every bag of green waste leaves the yard bound for municipal composting. RESTORE. Wherever we work, we plant for pollinators, leave standing seedheads for overwintering insects, and restore soil that has been stripped or compacted.

Common questions

Everything you need to know

Are you fully insured?

Yes. We carry industry-standard public liability and employers' liability insurance. Documents and policy limits available on request.

How long does a restoration take?

Most run across a single season, with the heavier work in autumn or early spring and the planting timed to the right window. Larger projects spread over two seasons so the garden is never closed all at once.

Will my garden be unusable while you work?

We phase the work so the family can still use the garden where possible. Beds being rebuilt are protected, paths kept open, and the team works in zones rather than across the whole site at once.

Do you work to my existing planting plan or your own?

Either. If the original plan is sound, we work to it. If the design has run its course, we propose a new scheme based on what the soil, light and family use will support over the coming decade.
