We are a garden design and build studio working across Clapham and the South East. Every commission is drawn, built and planted by our own team: survey and concept, hard landscaping, planting, and the care that follows.

Designing in Clapham.
Clapham is a different kind of commission to our Kent work, and we design for it accordingly. The gardens here are typically the long, narrow plots behind Victorian terraces around the Common, Abbeville Village and Clapham Old Town, where every metre counts and the challenge is to make a modest footprint feel considered and generous.
We plan these gardens as outdoor rooms: a well-built terrace for entertaining, screening and level changes to add depth, and dense, textural planting that softens the boundaries and draws the eye down the garden. The London clay here holds moisture, so we build in structure and choose planting that copes with shade and city conditions while still feeling lush.

Led by our own foreman and trades we've worked with for a decade. Weekly progress reports, one point of contact, nothing subcontracted out.
The Care
A garden reaches its best years after planting. Our own gardeners maintain many of our designs, pruning to intent and editing borders as they mature.

Which parts of Clapham do you cover?
We design across Clapham and SW4, from the Common and Abbeville Village to Clapham Old Town and North, and the neighbouring streets of Battersea and Balham.

It is much of what we do here. We plan narrow plots as outdoor rooms, using level changes, screening and dense, textural planting to add depth and draw the eye down the garden.

Do you look after the garden once it is built?
