We are a garden design and build studio working across Sydenham and the South East. Every commission is drawn, built and planted by our own team: survey and concept, hard landscaping, planting, and the care that follows.

Sydenham climbs the hill towards Crystal Palace, and its gardens climb with it, often sloping plots behind Victorian villas with views out across the city. The level changes are the opportunity here: terracing, steps and retaining that turn a difficult gradient into the best feature of the garden.
We design for these sloping sites regularly, building in structure and drainage on the clay, and planting to hold a bank and soften a hard edge. The reward is a garden that uses its height, with places to sit at different levels and planting that reads well from the house above.

The Care
A garden reaches its best years after planting. Our own gardeners maintain many of our designs, pruning to intent and editing borders as they mature.

Which parts of Sydenham do you cover?

Frequently. A lot of Sydenham plots sit on the hill with real level changes, and we design terracing, steps and retaining that make the slope the best part of the garden.
